My enemies list grew by one recently. Don't worry none of them are Facebook friends. Perhaps I have missed Jesus' point but I take his words above literally. I have a list of enemies in my mind and I pray for them regularly.
I was talking to a dear friend one day who tried to comfort me by predicting God would punish someone on my enemies list. I had to correct her and say, "you don't understand, I am praying for God to forgive them for what they did, not to punish them".
