Science Friction
Of Dangerous species,
Mosquitos top the list.
Should we cause their extinction,
By introducing a genetic twist?
Trials have been conducted,
On an Island or two,
Releasing mutated males,
Whose offspring's days are few.
Should we annihilate a species?
Amongst scientists there is friction,
I suggest we make our scientists,
Read some science fiction.
